MetroCONNECT: MC12000 Managed Service Delivery Chassis
Resilient Chassis system for Metro-Edge service distribution, into which many modules corresponding to the stand-alone units of the wider MetroCONNECT family may be installed.
The MC12000 Chassis offers flexible service extension for either a single ‘aggregated’ Ethernet connection, or alternatively multiple central Ethernet connections, with highly flexible options for multi-site ‘fan-out’ connectivity.
MetroCONNECT: FCM series 8000 and 9004
Ethernet Demarcation Devices (EDDs), alternatively known as Ethernet ‘Network interface Devices‘ (NIDs). Individual family members include:
FCM8000 Managed Ethernet Demarcation Device, featuring single SFP and dual copper interfaces
FCM9004 Advanced multi-port managed Ethernet NID / Demarcation Device (EDD), featuring custom MetroSAM packet-processing hardware for Performance Assurance / SLA verification
